Our Story

We’re a creative, tech-loving team with entrepreneurial roots and a passion for solving real-world problems. We’re always chasing better ways to do things—smarter strategies, cleaner processes, and solutions that actually make life easier.

That drive led us straight into the housing rental world, where we spotted something big: a gap in how property owners, traveling professionals, and corporate guests were being served. Most platforms just weren’t cutting it—for either side.

So, in 2022, we launched LODGYFIX.com to support short- and mid-term stays with more flexibility and transparency. Like many startups, we hit some bumps and had to pause. But in Q4 of 2024, we came back stronger—refocused, rebuilt, and ready to scale what we believe in.

LODGYFIX.com is now the only online marketplace built specifically for the U.S. workforce and entrepreneurial travelers. Our platform puts the control in your hands: Hosts and Guests manage their own bookings, conversations, and agreements—no middlemen, no hidden fees.

We take care of what matters most: verifying property ownership, host identities, and sharing best practices for screening and guest verification. Because great stays start with trust—and we’re here to help both sides get it right.

Our Core Values

Always be HONEST

We treat our clients as our friends. We treat the industry with respect. Don´t say anything you wouldn’t say to your friends or family.

Always be LEARNING

Aim to learn 1% per day. Make it part of your daily structure to read, get trained, etc. It is ok to make mistakes as long as we are learning from them.

SPEED wins

Let´s aim to reply to clients, execute and get things done as quickly as possible and then find a way to do it quicker! We can always improve the quality of stuff iteratively later on.

We aim for GOOD

When working iteratively, “good” is always better than great and perfect. If it’s good let’s deliver it NOW and improve it LATER. 

Remove "IN PROGRESS" work

We will always aim to have the least amount of work “In Progress” – so we should always aim to release our work as quickly as possible. 

Get FEEDBACK early

Get feedback early and react/improve quickly. Getting another point of view from colleagues, friends, and users should be part of your daily routine – not an extra project.

Create WOW!

Everything we do – how we act, treat our users, and how we build our product – should be aimed at creating WOW moments for our users.   

Show RESPECT

Respect your team, our users, and the industry. Don’t be late for calls or meetings; don’t take calls or speak to others during calls; keep promises, respect diversity and stick to your deadlines.

For the past 20 years JD has been working in the real estate industry in project management, maintenance coordination, sales,  and marketing strategies. He also has experience in tourism in administrative roles.

   Rebecca Guerrero
   Co-founder | Head of Operations

Working as the right hand for successful Entrepreneurs, CEOs and Executive Officers has given Rebecca the possibility to wear many hats and acquire experience and strong skills in Operations Management for different industries, specially in the Real Estate.
